The Toronto Raptors are signing forward Dalano Banton to a two-year, $2.5 million rookie deal, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Blake Murphy.

Banton, who was born in Toronto, became the first Canadian drafted by the Raptors when he was selected 46th overall this summer. He is currently playing with Toronto in the Las Vegas Summer League.
Banton is averaging 7.7 points, six rebounds, and 2.3 assists in three Sumer League games.
The 21-year-old played college basketball with Nebraska. During the 2020-21 season, he averaged 9.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. He also spent one season with Western Kentucky.
In addition to Banton, the Raptors also selected Scottie Barnes fourth overall and David Johnson 47th overall in the 2021 draft.
