Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly is yet to come to an agreement with the club over a new contract, with several Premier League clubs keeping an eye on him, including Tottenham.

The centre-back’s current contract runs out in the summer which will make him a free agent. However, reports suggest that Bournemouth are engaged in talks with their star defender over a contract extension.

However, as per the latest report from TeamTalk, Kelly is not willing to sign a new contract unless it includes a release clause which allows him to keep his options open.

Tottenham have emerged as one of the interested parties monitoring Kelly’s situation closely.

Despite securing Radu Dragusin’s services in January, Spurs remain keen on bolstering their defensive line-up, with Kelly featuring prominently on their radar.

Tottenham’s pursuit of Kelly dates back to last summer when they reportedly made a £20 million bid for the talented centre-back, an offer that was rebuffed by Bournemouth.

Tottenham are set to face competition for his signature, with the report mentioning Newcastle and West Ham as two other clubs keen on signing him.

Furthermore, Liverpool have also been previously linked with Kelly, as they seek to reinforce their defensive options following Joel Matip’s impending departure.

Kelly’s versatility and defensive prowess have made him an attractive prospect for multiple Premier League clubs, and his future destination remains uncertain as negotiations with Bournemouth continue.
