Man City, Man Utd aware of Frimpong buyout clause

Bayer Leverkusen Jeremie Frimpong right-back could find himself at the centre of a transfer tug of war.

The defender is highly rated around Europe and is wanted by two top Premier League clubs.

Both Manchester City and Manchester United are chasing after the Netherlands star.

Per The Sun, United are pushing to sign Frimpong to give them better attacking quality on the right.

In addition, City may be looking to move along the likes of Kyle Walker in the summer.

The 23-year-old Frimpong has a one-off 35 million release clause that will be valid this summer.
